Underline's 2001/2003 demo : "In the Distance"

ballad (but not a soft rock one!) with retro early Purple-inspired parts and stunning vocals from David.

3. Round Thing
remixed with edited drum parts Winter 2004/5
smooth jazzy vocal track, with uptempo chorus

4. The Silver Crown
guitar/bass/drum track re-recorded Winter 2004/5
rhodes/hammond riding on funky bass in this instrumental, inspired by hanging out in the alleyway behind our favourite chippy in the mid 80s.

5. Each Time v2
song restructured and remixed with new guitar solo parts Winter 2004/5
dance-prog guitar instrumental

I decided these tracks were worth remixing, so that with the tracks on XXI, I have enough material for Underline's first full-length album. On some tracks nearly all guitar parts were re-recorded. I believe the remixes benefit from my improved playing ability and improved recording facilities and equipment in my studio - in particular a new digital piano!
