It was a privilege way back in Feb to watch the hugely enjoyable and professional outfit The Crisis, featuring my old mate Dr Rob Illes .
The gig was a storm. Though consumers of vapes and cigs kept leaving the damn barn door open, and in Feb in Manchester this was no joke! Solution: get up and dance
Tonight’s the night for the St Josephs Whitefield Class of 86 reunion!
Most of the original Hanging Around band will be making a special cameo
appearance alongside HA drummer Liam’s band.

Hanging Around’s 1987 demo “Brian’s Revenge”.
The classic 4 “studio” tracks were recorded at St. Michael’s Whitefield in February 1987.
Now using digital restoration and mixing I hope to have added extra sparkle
to the original 4 track cassette recordings
I’ve updated my bandlab profile, and am happy to enter into some collaborations.
Writing new material continues, now that we’ve finished building the decking to relax on outside the studio!

I’m been designing a headstock for a DIY kit bass this weekend.
I’ve dusted off the piano keyboard recording a few ideas for a new tune.
And there’s been some digitising of old 4-track recordings in the last few weeks, with a view to remastering.
